  2. Ohhh that makes sense I didn't realise that was how they had it over there. I mean I approve, I've always disliked the word porridge. Sounds so gross. Like the word gruel. I mean. That just sounds nasty.

  3. Yeah no, muesli cannot be cooked then it would be porridge. Or I guess oatmeal for Americans?

  7. I love the word porridge (the most common term here in the UK) but dislike gruel, too. I imagine it cooked in water, tasteless, and possibly even burnt :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I already thought of making some but neither tried, it's really good! Taste a bit like pistachio butter but for the poor people.

I thought it was the runnier version of porridge, almost a soup. A food for the sicks or something

  9. 1/2 c oats, 1/2c egg whites, 1/2 c almond milk, some water, 1tsp earl grey leaves, throw it all in a pot on medium and stir a lot. Usually takes like 10 mins. You want to make sure to stir a lot so the egg whites thicken the oats without getting scrambled. Ofc you can make it without the egg whites, just add another 1/2 c of almond milk. I’m just a protein fiend so I add the egg whites. I sweeten w stevia and then add some vanilla extract for flavor.

    Hope you like it!

  18. Have you ever had white rice amazake? If so, how is the brown rice one compared to it? Sounds fun

  19. No, this is the first I've tried! In fact you inspired me to give it a go with all of your Japanese fermentation experiments. I got this from wholefoods.

  20. I'm glad you've given it a try then @CoconutWater ! Do you like it? If you're comfortable with this, it's also really great as a hot drink, diluted with some water and with grated ginger.
